Hello, I’m Brea
Nice to meet you.
Meet Brea…
Brea Dorsett is a passionate human rights advocate and social justice leader, born and raised on Yorta Yorta Country. Now based between rural Victoria and Naarm, Brea brings a unique blended lens to her work — bridging the needs of regional communities with the resources and momentum of city-based reform. Her journey into activism began through lived experience. In her final year of high school, Brea faced youth homelessness, finding safety in a supportive housing program where she lived alongside 39 other young people experiencing hardship. It was in this community that Brea discovered the power of solidarity, resilience, and systems change. That experience ignited her commitment to becoming a voice for those too often left out — young people affected by homelessness, sex workers, women, and anyone navigating stigma or systemic inequality. Whether she’s speaking on a national stage, leading a nonprofit, or coaching women in reclaiming their strength, Brea brings honesty, courage, and a fierce belief in human dignity to everything she does.

Youth homelessness and housing
My journey into advocacy began through my own experience of youth homelessness. I now work to influence housing policy, youth support programs, and public understanding through lived experience storytelling, research, and systemic reform.
Women in male dominated trades
Through research and advocacy, I shed light on the challenges women face in male-dominated industries — from safety and inclusion to retention and respect. I work with organisations, services, and sector leaders to push for real gender equity in the workplace.
Sex Work Equality and Safety
As the founder of Pink Leopard, I work to shift the narrative and reform the systems surrounding sex work. From policy change to workplace safety and stigma reduction, I centre sex workers' voices and fight for their right to safety, respect, and equality.
Health, Wellbeing and Confidence Coaching
Through ValYou Collective, I support women in reclaiming their strength — physically, emotionally, and mentally. I offer holistic coaching grounded in trauma-informed fitness, body image empowerment, and confidence-building tools.
Keynote Public Speaker
I’m a speaker, storyteller, and lived experience leader. I deliver keynotes, workshops, and panels across Australia — covering topics such as but not limited to mental health, social justice, body image, youth systems, women in male dominated trades, and sex work reform.
Regional and Rural Communities
Raised on Yorta Yorta Country and still living rurally, I advocate for stronger representation and investment in regional communities. I work to bridge metro privilege and rural reality — especially for young people, women, and marginalised communities.
